Licence

What you may do

Your purchase grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to install and use the product for any purpose, personal or commercial, including paid client work. There is no separate commercial licence and no seat you have to buy again.

• Two computers. One licence activates on two machines at a time - a desktop and a laptop, say.
• Move it whenever you like. If you need a third machine, the panel shows you the two it is already on and lets you free one from there. You do not need to reach the other computer, and you do not need to ask us.
• Work offline. Activation needs the internet once. After that the licence holds a signed pass that renews itself quietly in the background and keeps working for about three weeks at a time without contact - so an outage at our end never stops an edit.
• Keep it. A licence does not expire and is not tied to a subscription.

What you may not do

• Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute our software, or include it in another product.
• Publish or share your licence key, or use one key across a team or a facility. If you need several seats, write to us - we would rather sell you what you need than have you work around us.
• Modify or reverse-engineer a product in order to defeat the licence check, or use a key you did not buy.

Plugins for these applications ship as archives, so their code is readable by anyone who cares to look. We know that. It does not make the code yours to reuse.

Ownership

Our software and its source remain the property of Postprod Tools. This licence gives you the right to use it; it transfers nothing else.

If a licence stops working

If your key is refused and you believe it should not be, email hello@postprodtools.com from the address you bought with. Every key is recorded against an order, so we can find yours and put it right.
