Postprod Tools is an independent software developer. You can reach us at hello@postprodtools.com. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Adobe Inc., Blackmagic Design, or any other maker of the applications our tools work inside.
We sell plugins and panels that run inside video editing applications. Each is a single payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, and a licence does not expire. You are buying a licence to use the software, not ownership of the software itself. What that licence permits is on the Licence page.
Every product needs a host application you already own - we do not supply one - and most need a particular version of it. The host application and the minimum version are stated on each product's own page. Check them before you buy; they are the one thing that decides whether a product will run for you at all.
Updates are free for as long as we make them. We do not promise a schedule or a particular feature, and we do not promise support for versions of a host application that do not exist yet.
Our tools live inside software we do not control. Adobe, Blackmagic Design and the rest release new versions on their own schedule, and those releases can change or remove the very things a plugin is built on. A future update to the host application may stop one of our features working, or stop a product working altogether. That is the nature of building on top of someone else's application, and we would rather say it plainly here than have you discover it after an upgrade.
What we promise is the effort, not the outcome: when an update breaks something, we will do our best to fix it and to ship that fix as a free update. Sometimes the fix is quick. Sometimes the capability is simply gone from the host and no plugin can bring it back. We cannot guarantee a repair, a timescale, or that every feature will survive every version - and a break of this kind is not a fault in the product you bought.
So, plainly: nothing here is sold with a guarantee that it will keep working. You are buying the software as it behaves today, on the host versions it supports today. A later host update that removes a feature, or that stops a product loading at all, is not a defect we are able to undertake to repair, and it does not extend the refund window on the refunds page or create a right to a refund after it has passed. If that is not a risk you want to carry, please do not buy.
Practical advice, meant kindly: if a tool is load-bearing for your work, do not upgrade the host application in the middle of a job. That is good practice with any plugin, from anyone.

Our software is supplied as it is. We test it, we use it ourselves, and we fix what we find - but no software is free of faults, and we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular job you have in mind. Keep backups of your projects. Our tools put their actions on the host application's own undo stack wherever it has one, and that is not a substitute for a backup.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with a product is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost work, lost time, lost profit or damage to projects. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
We may deactivate a licence that is being resold, shared publicly, or used to get around the licence system. We will contact you first unless we cannot. An honest mistake is a support email, not an enforcement action.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page and the date it changed is at the bottom. A change never reaches back: a purchase is governed by the terms that applied when you made it.
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Postprod Tools is established. If you are a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring a claim before your local courts.

We name them only to say what our tools work with. None of our products are made by, or affiliated with, those companies.
