Sync

02 / 11

Spread puts every selected clip on its own track, which is what Synchronize needs before it will light up. Restack packs them back down afterwards, without moving a frame.

Freeze

Nest & Freeze

03 / 11

Nest a run of clips and the sound stays where it lies; unnest pours it back out without burying the audio underneath. Freeze parks the frame under the playhead on the track above.

Transitions come back at their default settings. Unnest rebuilds each transition from what Premiere will tell a panel: which transition it is, how long it is, and where it sits on the cut. What you changed inside it - a border, a direction, a plugin’s own controls - cannot be read, so it returns as stock. This is UXP, Adobe’s current panel API; the older extension format could read those settings, which is why some older tools put them back. If a transition’s settings matter, take it off before nesting and put it on again after.

One press colours the whole selection.

Colour a whole selection in one press, from the Project panel or from the timeline. All sixteen of Premiere’s colours, and it tells you which item it coloured.
